Experience protects the details

Window-film removal is not as easy as it looks.

The goal is not only to peel off film. The job must be completed without scratching the glass or damaging delicate rear defroster lines, and every trace of adhesive must be removed before new film is applied.

Glass-safe technique

Careful tool choice and controlled removal help protect the glass surface.

Rear defroster care

Defroster lines need patience and experience—not aggressive scraping.

Glue removed completely

Tiny adhesive particles can remain beneath moldings and inside door channels, then become trapped under new film.

How long does removal take? It can take approximately one hour or several days, depending on the number of windows, film and adhesive condition, access, and the care required for the job.
In-person quote required

Every removal job is different. Send your vehicle’s year, make, model, and the windows involved, and we’ll schedule a time for you to visit our shop.

Why can removal take several days?

Old film may separate in small pieces, glue may be deeply set, and some glass or defroster areas require slower techniques. The condition of the job determines the time.

Can you install new tint afterward?

Yes. The old adhesive must be thoroughly removed first so small glue particles do not become trapped beneath the new film.

Should I remove the window film myself?

If you plan to have the vehicle retinted, we do not recommend removing the film yourself. Adhesive may remain even when the glass looks clean, and improper scraping or chemicals can scratch the glass or damage rear defroster or antenna lines. Additional cleaning and preparation charges may apply. We must inspect the vehicle in person before confirming its condition and price.
